  1. Happy Birthday, Seamus! Is it really thirty years since the release of Hounds of Love? One of my favourite albums of all time. Nice to be reminded of it here.

    1. Yes time doesn't seem to be running up a hill, but galloping down one. Probably makes for an unusual enough setting for Kate's music, which belongs in any company, as long as it is good.

  2. Another great list Seamus. Going to see the Replacements in the Roundhouse in June! Saw one of their last shows in the Olympia in 1991. Some great out takes in the reissues, Gudby t Jane, T Rex etc...Brendan

    1. Glad you like it Brendan. The Replacements gig should be a real cracker. Must invest in some of those reissues! Wish I'd gone to see them in 1991.... Not sure why I didn't, although the rather Replacements-like shambolic chaos of my life at the time probably explains it all. (Even worse I may have been there and suffered one of those memory lapses which occurred with unhealthy regularity at the time...)
