1001 Books to Read (PLUS)

I use lists sometimes to try and focus my reading and give me ideas for books to look out for. One of the ones I use most is the 1001 Books to Read Before you Die.
There's been a few editions and some changes to the list for each one so now it's the 1294 books to read before you die. (I think)
I aim to have read half by the time I'm fifty which gives me six years to read another three hundred or so but I'm not going to get too caught up in it. On the other hand the obsessive in me wants to re read them all so that I can write about them all and build a library of my own impressions to match the one on my bookshelves. Wish I'd kept a reading diary, something I thought of a few times but never did until recently. Better late than never.
Bold means I've read it, coloured bold means that there is something written about it. Green means it's waiting on my shelves
